The Lake Charles Event Center has announced another major live concert event. The nationally known Country group, Eli Young Band, will perform on Friday, December 20, 2024. This follows the sold-out performance by Parker McCollum in April and the announcement of a Halloween concert by Whiskey Myers.
Tickets for the Eli Young Band show will go on sale Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Eli Young Band members met while attending the University of North Texas in Denton. The group has received multiple GRAMMY nominations and has headlined sold-out venues nationwide. They have toured with artists such as Jason Aldean, Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, and Darius Rucker.
"News of Eli Young Band booking a concert at the Lake Charles Event Center represents one more win in a string of significant bookings. We are thrilled to see the community’s excitement over this resurgence of major concert events at the Lake Charles Event Center," said Lake Charles Mayor Nic Hunter.
