The City of Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana Credit Union have announced a collaborative event, "Southwest Smart START Financial Fun for Kids." Scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025, the event will take place from 9 to 11 am at McMillan Park located at 343 Goos St.
The initiative aims to engage children in financial literacy through interactive activities. Participants will have opportunities to spin a prize wheel and win cash prizes. The event is free and open to the public, with refreshments available.
