The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and Mallard Golf Club are collaborating to offer a Kids Golf Camp on Monday, July 1. The camp, which is free of charge, targets children aged 6-14 and will be held at JD Clifton Park (2415 Gieffers St.) from 9 – 11 am.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn golf from Mallard Golf Club’s PGA Professional while engaging in various activities and challenges. "This is the perfect opportunity for campers to learn about a new sport!" stated an organizer.
Golf clubs and other necessary supplies will be provided during the event. Lake Charles Coca Cola is also partnering on this initiative to ensure participants stay hydrated.
