The City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department has announced that team registration is now open for the Next Stars Youth Basketball league. The league is available for boys and girls aged 11-12 and 13-14.
The registration fee is set at $250 per team, with no individual registrations accepted. The age cutoff date is January 1, 2025. Games are scheduled to take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays during February and March.
Teams can register on the fourth floor of Lake Charles City Hall, located at 326 Pujo Street. A birth certificate is required for each player upon registration. The deadline for team registration is Monday, December 30, 2024.
