The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and Entergy are collaborating to host an Arcs -n- Sparks Event on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10 am to noon. This free, interactive event will be held at Hillcrest Park, located at 2808 Hillcrest Dr.
The event will feature live demonstrations showcasing real sparks from a transformer to educate attendees on how Entergy provides electrical power to the community and how to stay safe around power lines. Additional information topics will include energy conservation and storm preparation. Refreshments will also be provided.
"The City of Lake Charles is proud to partner with Entergy, the Lake Charles Fire Department, and Lake Charles Coca-Cola to bring this free, family-friendly event to the community," stated a city representative.
