Due to forecasted inclement weather, week two of the Downtown at Sundown Concert Series, scheduled for this evening from 6-9 pm, will move inside the Lake Charles Event Center to the Sudduth Coliseum (900 Lakeshore Dr.).

Tonight’s theme, Swamp Night, will proceed as planned with Brandon Ledet & Creole Touch performing from 6-7:30 pm and Brandon Broussard & Chez de Bon Temps from 7:30-9 pm. The event remains free and open to the public and will feature artisan and food vendors.

As a reminder, no ice chests or pets are allowed. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of music entertainment indoors.

The series will continue with Intern Night on Friday, June 7, featuring The Tugboats and Kris Harper. Downtown at Sundown will conclude on Friday, June 14, with a special Geaux Blue Friday. Musical acts Justin Martindale & The Backstabbers and Doc Wilder will close out the 2024 edition of the family-friendly downtown festival.

Downtown at Sundown is presented by the City of Lake Charles and supported by corporate sponsorships from CITGO Petroleum, Entergy, Erdace Companies, Visit Lake Charles, Sasol, Fuerst Carrier & Ogden, First Horizon Bank, and Stockwell Sievert Law Firm.
