City of Lake Charles and Children’s Miracle Network Announce Citywide Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Lake Charles and the Children’s Miracle Network are teaming up to bring the community a fun-filled event this Easter season. Scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2024, the 2024 Citywide Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Hillcrest Park located at 2808 Hillcrest Dr. The event will run from 10 am to noon.

The Easter Egg Hunt will cater to children of various age groups, with special hunts designated for ages 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Additionally, there will be a sensory-friendly and accessible egg hunt to ensure inclusivity for all participants.

Volunteers from CHRISTUS Ochsner Health SWLA associates, McNeese State University’s Phi Mu Sorority members, and Families for Inclusion will be present to assist and guide the different egg hunts. The event will also feature special prize-filled eggs provided by Cumulus Broadcasting and refreshments courtesy of Coca Cola, as stated by a spokesperson, "Cumulus Broadcasting is providing special prize-filled eggs for the occasion and Coca Cola is providing refreshments for participants to enjoy."

Chuck the Train will add to the festive atmosphere with a special conductor just in time for Easter. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with food, fun, games, and more. The event is open to the public and free of charge, with the organizers encouraging families to join in on the Easter celebration.
