Beginning Monday, January 1, 2024, the Lake Charles Event Center will transition to an electronic payment system for its Box Office and Food and Beverage operations. Cash will no longer be accepted for these transactions.
The contactless payment system is part of a continued effort to improve the guest experience and create a more streamlined operation, allowing customers to pay using Apple, Google and Samsung Pay, credit or debit cards.
The move falls in line with similar steps taken in recent years at a number of venues and attractions nationwide. Electronic-based payment transactions promote the overall health, security and public safety of both patrons and employees.
