On Thursday, November 21, 2024, residents have two opportunities to participate in JD Clifton Park Visioning Workshops. These sessions will be held at the JD Clifton Community Center located at 2415 Gieffers St. The workshops are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The City of Lake Charles and Carbo Landscape Architects are presenting these workshops. They aim to provide the community with a presentation on plans for transforming JD Clifton Park into a putting greens course and botanical garden.
This transformation of JD Clifton Park is possible due to the successful passage of the LC REBOUND tax-neutral bond proposition that voters approved last fall.
