The City of Lake Charles is dealing with a power outage at its Transit Center, located at 1155 Ryan St. This disruption has impacted the Water Billing Office situated within the center, rendering it without phone and internet services. As a result, the office cannot process payments or access account information currently.

Despite this setback, water bill payments can still be made online or by calling (337) 545-2999. The Water Billing Office plans to resume regular services once power is restored.

In contrast, transit services are unaffected by this outage and continue to operate normally.

For updates on this situation and other news from the City of Lake Charles, residents are encouraged to visit or follow their official channels.

Power was restored later in the day, allowing the Water Billing Office to resume normal operations.
