Spooky fun is set to return to Bark Du Lac Dog Park on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m. The City of Lake Charles, in collaboration with Gill Bright Animal Hospital, will host the third annual Howl-O-Ween Doggie Dress-Up Day as part of its Partners in Parks Initiative.
Dog owners are encouraged to dress up their pets for a chance to win prizes in categories such as Look-A-Like, Best Dressed, and Most Tricks. All participating dogs must have current vaccinations, be on a leash, non-aggressive, and not in heat. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
The event will feature a kids' play zone along with food and music for family entertainment. For further details, interested individuals can contact the City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department at (337) 491-1280.
