The City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department and McNeese State University Athletics are collaborating to present the Next Stars Football League this fall. Team registration for this 12U youth tackle football league opens on Monday, July 15, 2024. The cost to register is $500 per team. No individual registrations will be allowed, and the age cut-off is August 1.
Games will be held at the Ward 3 Power Center Sports Complex, with the play-off championship series scheduled to be played at McNeese’s Cowboy Stadium.
Team registration is available on the fourth floor of Lake Charles City Hall, located at 326 Pujo St. A birth certificate is required for each player. The team registration deadline is Monday, August 12, 2024.
