The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative, in collaboration with Project Build a Future, is set to host a Fishing for Fun in the Park Event on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The event will take place from 10 am to noon at Riverside Park, located at 1701 Fitzenreiter Rd.
According to the organizers, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in first-hand fishing lessons and learn more about the fish and other native species that inhabit Riverside Park and the Calcasieu River.
