The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and Acadian Ambulance are collaborating to present a Creating Community Heroes Workshop Series, as announced on Mar 27, 2024.
According to the City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative, "This free series will feature four workshops during the month of April." The workshops will cover various topics such as CPR training, career opportunities, details on Acadian’s Explorer Program, and tuition information. "All workshops will begin at 6 pm," added the City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative.
The workshops are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, April 2 – Cpl Donald Ray Stevens Community Center (1619 Cessford St.)
- Tuesday, April 9 – Bellard Recreation Center (2808 Hillcrest Dr.)
- Tuesday, April 16 – Henry Heights Community Center (801 E. School St.)
- Tuesday, April 23 – College Oaks Recreation Center (3518 Ernest St.)
