There were 3,713 white students enrolled in Jefferson Davis Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.4% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Jefferson Davis Parish School District welcomed 5,425 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 68.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the 14 schools in Jefferson Davis Parish School District, Hathaway High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 519 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
