The City of Lake Charles is rolling into fall as the Recreation and Parks Department gears up to host Skate-Tember!
Three themed evenings are planned for the month of September, with each event taking place in the Lake Charles Civic Center Coliseum (900 Lakeshore Dr.). Admission is $5 to skate and those 16 and under must have an adult present.
All events are scheduled to take place from 6-8 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase and KBYS will broadcast, providing music for each event.
Dates and themes are as follows:
Friday, September 8 70’s Night
Thursday, September 14 80’s Night
Friday, September 29 90’s Night
Skates are not provided, and only non-motorized roller and inline skates will be permitted on the floor. Costumes fitting each theme are encouraged.
