Two international McNeese State University students have been chosen as Mr. and Miss McNeese for the Spring Court.
Adepoju “PJ” Adetunji, a finance major from Ife, Nigeria is Mr. McNeese. Toluwanimi Atewogbola, a biology major with a concentration in pre-medicine from Lagos, Nigeria is Miss McNeese.
Adetunji is the son of Kikelomo and Adelana Adetunji. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, McNeese Rowdy Riders, Honors College and Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society. Adetunji serves as vice president of Greek Unity Board, president of African and Caribbean Student Association, and vice president of Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity.
Atewogbola is the daughter of Matthew and Ibijoke Atewogbola. She is a member of the Pre-Medicine Society and the African and Caribbean Student Association.
Other Spring Court members include: Lianne Montelibano, Jagger Morvant, Julia O’Brien, Bishwash Khadka, Lana Clark, Nathan Blanchard, Ta’Mya Davis, Evan Veillon, Lexee Leger, Samuel Castro, Kelly Hines, Kayla Warner, Trey Gregory and Clophus “CJ” Semien.
Montelibano, daughter of Emily and Allan Montelibano, is a biology major with a concentration in pre-medicine from Moss Bluff. She is a senator for Student Government Association, and a member of the Speech and Debate Team, Pre-Medicine Society, Fanatics and McNeese Rowdy Riders.
Morvant, son of Brent and Jami Morvant, is an accounting major from Moss Bluff. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
O’Brien, daughter of Christopher and Shelley O’Brien, is a biology major with a concentration in pre-medicine from Jennings. She is a member of Honors College, Phi Mu Sorority and Pre-Medicine Society.
Khadka, son of DB and Gaura Khadka, is a computer science major from Nepal. He is a member of Nepalese Student Association and the Association of Computing Machinery.
Clark, daughter of Aleta and Charles Clark, is a criminal justice major from Welsh. She is a member of Exquisite Golden Belles, NAACP, Fanatics Club, National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Mu Sorority.
Blanchard, son of Amanda and Brandon Blanchard, is a biology major with a concentration in pre-medicine from Moss Bluff. He is a member of McNeese Rowdy Riders, Honors College, McNeese Ambassadors, Fanatics, Speech and Debate Team and Pre-Med Society.
Davis, daughter of Randy and Tara Davis, is a business administration major with a minor in Spanish from Bossier. She is founder and president of Small Steps Mental Health Organization and the Social Chair of Delta Sigma Pi. She is also a member of Symphonic Band, Courtside Cowboys, the Pride of McNeese marching band, McNeese Rowdy Riders, McNeese Ambassador, Pre-law and Politics Society and the Baptist Campus Ministries.
Veillon, son of Jed and Kim Veillon, is a construction management major from Ville Platte. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Cowboy Catholics.
Leger, daughter of Melissa and Robbie Gaspard and Scott and Angie Leger, is an agricultural science major with a concentration in animal science from Iowa. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Circle K International, Collegiate FFA, Cowboy Catholics and National Honor Society.
Samuel Castro, son of Devon and David Castro, is a chemical engineering major from Sulphur. He is a member of Honors College, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity and the Pride of McNeese marching band.
Kelly Hines, daughter of Stephen and Danielle Hines, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in pre-physical therapy with a minor in history from Cypress, Texas. She is member of Cowboy Catholics, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Student Government Association, Physical Medicine Society and McNeese Women’s Soccer team.
Kayla Warner, daughter of Alicia Warner and Derrick Davis, is a health and human performance major with a concentration in sports medicine from New Orleans. She is a member of the McNeese Women’s Track and Field team, Student Government Association, Student Life Coalition, NAACP, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Physical Medicine Society and Spectrums.
Trey Gregory, son of Darlin and Dr. John Gregory, is a biology major with a concentration in pre-dental from Sulphur. He is a member of Student Government Association, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, Students for Life, Kappa Sigma Fraternity Alum, Delta Sigma Pi, Pre-Dentistry Society, McNeese Robotics and Cowboy Catholics.
Clophus “CJ” Semien, son of Sharon Semien, is a nursing major from Lake Charles. He is President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Vice President of National Pan-Hellenic Council and the 2022 Homecoming King. He is also member of Black Male Initiative, McNeese football team and Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
