ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ACTION

15.     123-23               An ordinance accepting the lowest responsible bid and authorizing the City of Lake Charles to enter into an agreement to purchase annual supply of roadbase limestone aggregate per specifications for six (6) months, with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional six (6) month periods, for use by the Public Works Department, Streets Division.

16.     246-23               An ordinance accepting the lowest responsible bid and authorizing the City of Lake Charles to enter into an agreement to purchase one (1) new portable sewer camera system for use in the City of Lake Charles Public Works Department, Streets/Drainage Division.

17.     306-23               An ordinance accepting the lowest responsible bid and authorizing the City of Lake Charles to enter into an agreement to purchase our annual supply of janitorial supplies for use by various City of Lake Charles Divisions and Departments for a twelve (12) month period with the option to renew for one(1) additional twelve (12) month period.

20.     370-23                An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multifamily loan agreement with Banyan Foundation, for the purpose of using City of Lake Charles direct allocation Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds for Capstone at the Oaks, an affordable housing development.

21.     371-23             An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multifamily loan agreement with MGM Development Group, for the purpose of using City of Lake Charles direct allocation Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds for Calcasieu Heights, an affordable housing development.

22.     372-23             An ordinance authorizing the City of Lake Charles to enter into an agreement with a firm to provide network services for the Water Division and Waste Water Division.

23.     373-23             An ordinance authorizing the City of Lake Charles to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Zypien’s Music Foundation for the development of a Walk of Fame in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

25.     375-23              A resolution accepting Project Nos. HL-26A, 28, 34, 26, 81.D.2, 111 - Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants - Building Demolition, as substantially complete and authorizing the advertising of the 45-day lien period.

26.     376-23              A resolution approving the City of Lake Charles’ 2021 CDBG-DR Action Plan and authorizing the City of Lake Charles to make application to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for its 2021 Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding allocation.

27.     377-23              A resolution amending Resolution No. 39-23 declaring the intention of the City of Lake Charles (the “City”) to proceed with the development of a project for acquisition and establishment of additions and improvements to the City’s Waterworks System in order to increase the principal amount for the City’s taxable excess revenue bonds (City of Lake Charles - Center East Water Plant Project), Series 2023; and otherwise providing with respect thereto.

37.     387-23             Introduction of an ordinance amending and restating Ordinance No. 19518 authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $2,000,000 taxable excess revenue bonds, (City of Lake Charles - Center East Water Plant Project), Series 2023, in order to increase the principal amount not to exceed $2,300,000 taxable excess revenue bonds, (City of Lake Charles - Center East Water Plant Project), Series 2023; prescribing the form and certain terms and conditions of said bonds; providing for payment thereof; entering into certain other covenants and agreements in connection with the security and payment of said bonds; selling said bonds to the Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund; authorizing the execution of a loan and pledge agreement and other loan documents with the Louisiana Department of Health; providing for the delivery of the bonds to said department; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.
