On Tuesday, April 1, former Alfred M. Barbe High School standout Donovan LaSalle’s current college team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Missouri State Bears.
The game took place at Hammons Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.
The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at O’Brate Stadium against Kansas State Wildcats.

Goosport Park in Lake Charles will host a Halloween event on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services is organizing the event through its Partners in Parks initiative.
