On Sunday, March 16, former Sam Houston High School standout Jordan Thompson’s current college team, the McNeese State Cowboys, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lamar Cardinals.

The game took place at Joe Miller Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field against Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
