The City of Lake Charles has partnered with LifeShare Blood Center to organize a series of blood drives. These efforts aim to support victims of the New Year's Day attack in New Orleans.
The scheduled blood drives will occur on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital South Atrium and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lake Charles City Hall. Another session is planned for Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Historic City Hall.
LifeShare Blood Center is coordinating with hospitals in New Orleans and is prepared to supply blood products as required.
