The City of Lake Charles is accepting nominations for the Mayor’s Mentorship Award until the close of business on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
The award seeks to honor a community mentor who dedicates their time and talents to positively influence the lives of youth in the community.
A single winner will be announced at the Love Your City: Connect and Lead – How We Build Communities event on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The event will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Central School.
The recipient of the Mayor’s Mentorship Award will receive a $500 donation to a nonprofit charitable corporation of their choice. This donation is funded by a private contribution.
