The Lake Charles Event Center has announced a major live concert featuring country artist Riley Green. The multi-platinum artist is scheduled to perform on Friday, May 9, 2025.
This announcement follows the sold-out Parker McCollum concert in April 2024 and upcoming performances by Whiskey Meyers on October 31 and the Eli Young Band in December.
Tickets for Riley Green's show will go on sale starting Friday, September 27.
Riley Green gained success in country music with his self-titled EP released in 2018. His notable hits include the platinum-certified "There Was This Girl" and the triple-platinum "I Wish Grandpa Never Died." He was named Academy of Country Music’s New Male Artist of the Year in 2020 and is set to release a new album this October.
“News of Riley Green’s upcoming concert at the Lake Charles Event Center represents the fourth national touring artist to be booked at the venue in recent months. We are thrilled to see the community’s excitement over this resurgence of major concert events at the Lake Charles Event Center,” said Lake Charles Mayor Nic Hunter. “It has been decades since we’ve seen this amount of activity at the Lake Charles Event Center, and we are thrilled to see this momentum continue!”
Tickets will be available online or at the Event Center Box Office located at 900 Lakeshore Dr.
