There were 83 Hispanic students enrolled in Cameron Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.5% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Cameron Parish School District welcomed 1,122 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 7.4% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the five schools in Cameron Parish School District, Grand Lake Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 39 students.
