America’s most celebrated “helpful place” hosted a grand opening in Westlake, Louisiana, Oct. 14 through 16.

Westwood Ace Hardware, opening its third location at 2365 Westwood Road, brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to Westlake residents.

"We will be having a ribbon cutting and grilling Demo on Friday and lots of exciting door prizes. Cook out on Saturday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Lucky draw on Sunday 16th October. As a owner and retailer, I am very glad to be a part of southwest Louisiana and serving in this area for last 27 years," Westwood Ace Hardware said in a Facebook post prior to the event.

Customers enjoyed the chance to win a variety of prizes and take advantage of sales throughout the store. Prizes included an Ego Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $249, a Paint-a-Room Makeover valued at $125, A Weber Spirit II E-210 gas grill valued at $459, and a Milwaukee drill and driver set valued at $399.
