Bassil’s Ace Hardware in Metairie, Louisiana, recently held a grand opening celebration.

America’s most celebrated “helpful place” held a grand opening on Sept. 23 and 24 at the store, which is located at 4419 Transcontinental Drive. Bassil’s Ace Hardware brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products to Metairie residents.

The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key store focuses and product offerings include lawn and garden, hardware, paint, plumbing, outdoor living, as well as niche products from Craftsman, EGO, Scotts, Weber, Toro, Traeger, Milwaukee and Benjamin Moore.

Customers had the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a variety of prizes or take advantage of sales throughout the store. Giveaways included a Paint a Room Makeover valued at $125, and a Weber Spirit gas grill valued at $419
