On Wednesday, March 5, former Alfred M. Barbe High School standout Donovan LaSalle’s current college team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Winthrop Eagles.
The game took place at O’Brate Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at O’Brate Stadium against Illinois State Redbirds.

Goosport Park in Lake Charles will host a Halloween event on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services is organizing the event through its Partners in Parks initiative.
