The City of Lake Charles, in partnership with Cumulus Broadcasting, is set to host the 2025 Citywide Easter Egg Hunt on April 19, 2025. The event, scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to noon, will take place at Hillcrest Park located at 2808 Hillcrest Drive in Lake Charles.

The Easter event will showcase 25,000 eggs filled with treats. Special hunts are organized for distinct age groups: children aged 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Additionally, a sensory-friendly and accessible egg hunt is part of the program.

The event is further supported by sponsors such as the Louisiana King of Kings Lodge #25 of the Most Worshipful HB Turner Grand Lodge of Texas and Lake Charles Coca-Cola. Cumulus Broadcasting will contribute chocolate eggs and Easter bunnies from Elmer’s for distribution. A highlight of the event will be Chuck the Train, featuring a special conductor for the occasion.

The community is encouraged to partake in this free and open public event, which will include food, games, and other activities. For more details, interested parties can contact 337-491-1280.
