Lake Charles opens registration for new youth girls volleyball league

The City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department has opened registration for a new Youth Girls Volleyball League, set to begin this fall. The league is designed for current fifth- and sixth-grade girls, with a participation fee of $25. Players will be assigned to teams through a random draft process. Both players and coaches are expected to provide their own equipment.

All games will take place at the Donald Ray Stevens Community Center located at Goosport Park, 1619 Cessford St. Registration can be completed online on the City’s official website at www.cityoflakecharles.com, where participants are required to upload a birth certificate during the registration process.
