On Sunday, April 27, former Alfred M. Barbe High School standout Halie Pappion’s current college team, the Boston Eagles, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.
The game took place at Skytop Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Orange this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Burrill Family Field at the CT Softball Complex against UConn Huskies.

Goosport Park in Lake Charles will host a Halloween event on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services is organizing the event through its Partners in Parks initiative.
