On Saturday, March 22, former Sam Houston High School standout Erin Ardoin’s current college team, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their second matchup against the Warhawks this season.
The Ragin’ Cajuns’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at Lamson Park against Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

Novice kayakers will have an opportunity to participate in a free instructional event at Riverside Park on Sunday, November 2.
Goosport Park in Lake Charles will host a Halloween event on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services is organizing the event through its Partners in Parks initiative.
