Congressman Clay Higgins, a Republican from Louisiana, has cast his vote in favor of H.R. 1526, known as the No Rogue Rulings Act. The bill seeks to address concerns regarding judges who are perceived to have overstepped their constitutional role.

The legislation, which recently passed, aims to curtail the ability of U.S. district courts to issue nationwide injunctions. Such rulings typically affect parties beyond those directly involved in a particular case.

“Rogue, anti-Trump judges are a serious problem. Unelected judges have abused their authority,” said Congressman Higgins in a statement. “The No Rogue Rulings Act reins them in. We are restoring Article III parameters as envisioned by the Founders.”

The bill positions itself as a corrective measure to maintain judicial limitations, particularly in response to President Trump’s executive actions being blocked by court decisions.
