Community meeting set for Sale Road bridge repair project

Property owners and residents living along Sale Road between Holly Hill Road and Lake Street have been invited to a community meeting regarding upcoming repairs to the Sale Road bridge. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the College Oaks Recreation Center, located at 3518 Ernest St.

The City of Lake Charles will begin repairs on the bridge starting Monday, March 16. During the meeting, officials plan to provide information about expected road closures, detours, and project timelines.

Residents who may be affected but are unable to attend can send their questions to engineering@cityoflc.us.
