On Saturday, July 19, the City of Lake Charles and Sasol’s Nature in Focus Initiative will host a free event titled “It’s a Bug’s Life.” The event is scheduled from 9 to 11 am at Tuten Park, located at 3810 Nelson Rd.
Attendees will have the chance to engage in hands-on educational activities focused on learning about various bugs. Interactive displays will offer an up-close view of these creatures. Afterward, participants can explore Tuten Park’s back trails to observe bugs in their natural environment.
This event is free and open to the public, organized in partnership with Sasol and the Southwest Louisiana Master Naturalists. Nature in Focus is a signature program of Sasol and part of the City’s Partners in Parks initiative.
Lake Charles Coca-Cola will provide beverages for attendees.
