Mayor Nicholas E. Hunter and the City of Lake Charles Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission (MAFC) are set to host the 17th Annual Patriots Ball of Louisiana on June 28, 2025. The event will take place in the Grand Ballroom at L’Auberge Casino Resort, located at 777 Avenue L’Auberge.

The evening will commence with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The ball serves as the primary fundraising event for MAFC, which supports veterans and patriotic initiatives in the area.

During the event, four individuals from Southwest Louisiana will be honored for their service to the community. Awards include Civilian Patriot of the Year, Emergency Responder Patriot of the Year, and Military Patriot of the Year. Additionally, a Patriot of the Year will be recognized posthumously.

The formal program will conclude with a salute to each branch of the United States military. Entertainment for the night will be provided by local DJ Damon Vincent from Upscale Productions.

Miss Armed Forces 2025 will also be introduced during the event. She represents Lake Charles’ Red, White, Blue and You and MAFC at various events throughout Louisiana to promote patriotism and honor veterans.

Tickets for the Patriots Ball are priced at $75 each and can be purchased by contacting Tanya Senegal, MAFC Liaison, at (337) 491-1383 or online via Eventbrite.
