On Friday, March 7, former Alfred M. Barbe High School standout Ben Stevens’ current college team, the Henderson State Reddies, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Harding Bisons.
The game took place at Jerry Moore Field. This was their first matchup against the Bisons this season.
The Reddies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Jerry Moore Field against Harding Bisons.

Goosport Park in Lake Charles will host a Halloween event on Friday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services is organizing the event through its Partners in Parks initiative.
